Training Module in Logistics Operations Design

This Module is composed of four Topics which taken together provide the learner with tools and techniques relevant to the design of logistics management strategy. The four Topics include:

Logistics and the supply chain
Integrating and analysing logistic operations
Customers and logistics operations
Inbound logistics operations

This module is the first in a set of three learning materials which are grouped under the title of "Integrated Logistics Management".

This is an individualised, self directed, self paced training module in Logistics Operations Design. On that basis you may treat this module as a stand alone guide to developing your knowledge of logistics strategy. As well, you may use this module to gain credit towards completion of the Unit called "Integrated Logistics Management" at Southern Cross University. This would require your completion of the other two Modules in this series and undertaking the formal assessment tasks.*

* Subject to the approval of the Director of the Master of Supply Chain Management at Southern Cross University. Formal assessment must also be taken within six months of starting the Module.
** This is the same text that is used in Modules 1 and 2 of Intergrated Logistics Management so you do not need to order it if you have studied either of these Modules.
