Study Opportunities With WSRI

WSRI offers opportunities for flexible and adaptable study in the discipline of Supply Chain Management. Each study program is designed to be a short and sharp learning experience around a group of three modules, that treat a specific focal area of supply chain management.

In the nature of true supply chain management each training module enables the student to proceed through the materials at a speed which is appropriate to specific needs.

Students may also select from a variety of teaching support products, such as workshops or hard-copy print-based materials that facilitate learning according to need.

There also the additional capacity to study in area of specific interest without wasting time on material that is irrelevant or already known to the user.

You may also obtain formal credit for the module as part of study towards a Unit in supply chain management at Southern Cross University (subject to the approval of the Director of Supply Chain Management at SCU). All that is required is the submission of assessment item that is of a standard demanded from formal university education. Indeed, WSRI modules can be used by supply chain management practitioners and students to gauge their interest in and commitment to further study at university in a formal sense.

Typically, your learning materials combine both theoretical and practical elements. So, in some respects they take an academic path and apply the knowledge gained to a real world situation.

This fulfils the needs of developing knowledge and skills for both the needs of managers as well as qualifying the student for equivalence at university level.
